Frankfurt Stock Exchange is the largest of the seven stock exchanges in Germany. Deutsche Börse AG is repository of the FWB, which is regulated by public law. In this capacity it ensures the smooth functioning of exchange trading.

Trading hours are on every trading day from 9:00 to 17:30 (Xetra) and 8:00 to 22:00. If you want to visit the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, please contact the Visitor Centre. To trade at Frankfurt Stock Exchange you need an account at your bank or online broker.

There are over 1,4 million securities tradeable such as stocks, bonds, ETFs, ETCs, ETNs, funds, warrants and certificates. On the stock exchange supply and demand of securities are brought together and offset by price determination and executed at these prices, mediated by specialists in floor trading (market maker). Targets of exchange trading are enhanced market transparency, greater liquidity, reducing of transaction costs and security against manipulation.
