Trend
Direction of development of stock market prices; central element of technical analysis.
Commonly, a trend is referred to the tendency of the stock market price development. The technical chart analysis, one of the two main forms of analysis, in addition to the fundamental analysis, attempts to be identify historical price patterns in order to determine the current trend and, ultimately, to make predictions for future developments.
