Yield
Annualised gains of a capital investment expressed in percent.
The return quantifies the profit of an investment and is usually expressed as a percentage per year. In the case of shares, it is made up of price gains and dividends; in the case of bonds, the yield is calculated in a complex procedure from, among other things, price, interest payment and remaining term.
The yield of a bond is given on boerse-frankfurt.de for both the last price and the current bid side of the quote and can be calculated individually with the yield calculator if required.
Simple formula:
Yield = Assets (new) / Assets (old) - 1
