BNP Paribas offers access to bond ETFs for emerging markets.
3 September 2024, FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Two new exchange-traded funds from BNP Paribas Asset Management have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.
With the BNP Paribas Easy JPM ESG EMBI Global Diversified Composite UCITS ETF in the two share classes H CHF and H GBP Capitalisation, investors participate in fixed and floating-rate government and quasi-government bonds denominated in US dollars from emerging markets with a minimum remaining maturity of 2.5 years.
Both share classes offer currency hedging against the Swiss franc and the pound sterling and are traded in the corresponding currency on Xetra.
When selecting securities, an ESG scoring and screening methodology is used to overweight issuers with higher ESG criteria and green bonds and to underweight or even eliminate issuers with lower ratings.
