Selection indices: Unscheduled change in DAX, MDAX and SDAX

On 27 December, Covestro will be replaced by Fresenius Medical Care in the DAX, Deutsche Wohnen will move up to the MDAX and LPKF Laser & Electronics will join the SDAX.

20 December 2024 FRANKFURT (Frankfurt Stock Exchange). STOXX, the index subsidiary of Deutsche Börse, has announced an unscheduled change to the index composition of the SDAX.

With effect from 27 December 2024, Covestro AG will be removed from the DAX as it violates the basic free float criteria of at least 10 percent. Fresenius Medical Care AG, currently in the MDAX, will replace Covestro AG in the DAX. Deutsche Wohnen SE will be included in the MDAX from the SDAX and replace Fresenius Medical Care. LPKF Laser & Electronics SE will join the SDAX instead.
