Market price
Price at which securities, commodities or currencies are bought and sold on an exchange
Market prices are calculated on the basis of available buy and sell orders either by a lead broker on the trading floor or automatically via the electronic trading system.
Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
