MBI (management buy-in)
Takeover of a company by an external management team.
In an MBI, the incoming management has contacts to financial investors who provide liquid funds and accompany the takeover process, thereby guaranteeing that the new management team will be successfully integrated into the company.
Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
