Offsetting transaction
The possibility to clear buys and sells of one and the same security within a bank without involving the exchange
In Germany, the banks have voluntarily entered into an agreement to use the exchange. These types of transactions are therefore only allowed when the customer expressly asks for them.
Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
