Order routing
Process by which securities orders are forwarded to an exchange.
Banks typically forward buy and sell orders electronically. In Germany, orders can be routed to the trading floor via Xontro, or to the Xetra trading system via an order routing interface.
Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
