General Standard for equities

Unscharfer Blick auf einen Monitor

The General Standard is a segment of the EU regulated market. The companies in the segment are subject to the statutory minimum requirements of the regulated market.

In General Standard, the legal requirements for the Regulated Market apply. The individual admission requirements and subsequent obligations are governed by the Stock Exchange Act, the Stock Exchange Admission Regulation and the Stock Exchange Regulations for the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Upon application, the management of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange decides on admission to the Regulated Market (General Standard).

Issuers in the General Standard meet the high transparency requirements of the Regulated Market. The General Standard is therefore primarily suitable for medium-sized and large companies that appeal to national investors and opt for a low-cost listing.
