Lead brokers
Financial services providers or banks that take all orders into account that have been entered before the time of the price calculation.
Since 23 May 2011 trading at the the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (FWB, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange) takes place exclusively via the Xetra system. Xetra uses specialists who ensure sufficient liquidity in trading. Despite the termination of lead-broker based floor trading using the Xontro system, the presence of specialists will ensure that the Trading Hall of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange remains in operation.
Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
