Trading day
Day on which trading is open.
Trading days in Germany are generally all weekdays except Saturday and Sunday. Exceptions to this are the public holidays Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. The stock exchange is open on some public holidays, e.g. Whit Monday and Ascension Day, and closed on others, such as 1 May.
The trading days are determined annually by the exchange management.
