Stock option plan
Option rights for employees of a corporation as an additional payment form.
A stock option plan gives employees of a corporation option rights, which they may exchange under predetermined conditions in shares of their company. The plan usually includes a perennial period after which the shares must have achieved a certain increase in value, so that the stock options can be exercised.
